From the City Beautiful Chandigarh, we share the story of an engineer by qualification Mr Diljot Singh Dhaliwal. For as long as he could remember, he was a fan of the oriental cuisine- especially dumplings and noodles. Seeing how unhealthy dumplings and sauces served locally enticed him to do something about it.

His Quest for the perfect recipe

Driven by the idea of creating a healthy but delicious offering of dumplings and sauces, he started experimenting with various compositions of floors and fillings until one day, Eureka! Eureka!, Diljot arrived at the perfect Whole Wheat Dumpling and Pure Vegetable sauce. Enthused by his creations and a burning desire to share them with everyone, Diljot started DUMPLING HOOD from a little bamboo kiosk in sector 9 Chandigarh. He started a sampling interaction with the public at large. Taking on board inputs from everyone who bonded over the love for Dumplings and sauce. DUMPLING HOOD recipes, fillings and serving evolved. Foodies in Chandigarh have helped develop delicious Dumpling Hood signature fillings and sauces we all love and cherish today.

In time Dumpling Hood with its signature sauce, has introduced 12 Dumpling variants made fresh daily. It offers healthy, preservative-free vegetarian and non-vegetarian Dumplings.
